Article 1 (Definition of Personal Information)
“Personal Information” shall mean information relating to a user of this service that can identify the specific individual, including but not limited to name, date of birth, telephone number, email address, affiliation, and any other descriptions contained in such information. It also includes information that cannot by itself identify a specific individual but can be easily collated with other information to thereby identify the individual user.

Article 2 (Purpose of Use of Personal Information)
PowerWave Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, The Company) shall acquire Personal Information as defined above in connection with applications for employment, inquiries, and other interactions conducted through this website.
The Company shall not handle Personal Information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the specified purposes of use without obtaining the prior consent of the user.
The Company shall collect Personal Information for the following purposes:
1. To process applications for employment and respond to inquiries made through this website
2. To respond to inquiries from users
3. For purposes incidental to the foregoing purposes of use

Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
1. The Company shall handle Personal Information only within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use specified and publicly announced in advance and shall not provide Personal Information to any third party without obtaining the consent of the user.However, the Company may provide Personal Information to a third party without the user’s consent in the following cases:
　1. Where required by laws or regulations
　2. Where necessary for the protection of a person’s life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
　3. Where it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government entity or a party entrusted thereby in the execution of affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual is likely to impede the execution of such affairs
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the following cases shall not be deemed as provision to a third party:
　1. Where the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of Personal Information within the scope necessary for business operations or for achieving the purposes of use
　2. Where Personal Information is provided in connection with a succession of business due to merger or other reasons

Article 4 (Disclaimer Regarding Provision to Third Parties)
The Company shall not be liable for any acquisition of Personal Information by third parties in the following cases:
1. Where the user voluntarily discloses Personal Information to a third party by using the functions of this service or by other means
2. Where a person other than the user obtains information capable of identifying the user (such as passwords)
3. Where the acquisition occurs without any fault attributable to the Company

Article 5 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
If the Company is requested by a user to disclose Personal Information pursuant to the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Company shall, after confirming that the request is made by the user himself/herself, disclose such information to the user without delay (and if the relevant Personal Information does not exist, the Company shall notify the user accordingly).
However, this shall not apply in cases where the Company is not obligated to disclose such information under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations.

Article 6 (Correction of Personal Information)
If a user requests correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Corrections, etc.”) of Personal Information on the grounds that such information is inaccurate, pursuant to the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Company shall, after confirming that the request is made by the user himself/herself, conduct the necessary investigation without delay within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use, and based on the results, implement such Corrections, etc. and notify the user accordingly (or notify the user if it decides not to implement such Corrections, etc.).
However, this shall not apply in cases where the Company is not obligated to make such Corrections, etc. under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations.

Article 7 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)
If a user requests suspension of use or deletion (hereinafter referred to as “Suspension, etc.”) of Personal Information pursuant to the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, on the grounds that such Personal Information is being handled beyond the scope of the purposes of use previously announced, or was obtained by wrongful means, and if it is determined that the request has reasonable grounds, the Company shall, after confirming that the request is made by the user himself/herself, implement such Suspension, etc. without delay and notify the user accordingly.
However, this shall not apply in cases where the Company is not obligated to implement such Suspension, etc. under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations.

Article 8 (Amendments to the Privacy Policy)
The Company may amend this Privacy Policy, including changes to the Personal Information to be collected or the purposes of use, without prior notice to users.
The amended Privacy Policy shall become effective upon its publication on this page.
