Technology

Capacitive coupling wireless power transfer

PowerWave uses the capacitive coupling wireless power transfer scheme.
This scheme:
• Applies high-frequency voltage to electrodes on the transmitting side
• Generates an electric field
• Transfers energy via displacement current through changes in that field
This is a next-generation technology enabling wireless power transfer via electric field coupling.
